- 2 bananas, cut in half and sliced down the center
- 1-2 tsp coconut oil
- 1-2 tbsp raw sugar
- 1-2 tbsp Bourbon maple syrup (any maple syrup will do)
- 4 Nature’s Path organic toaster waffles (we used wildberry buckwheat)
Heat a large non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. While pan is heating, combine sugar and maple syrup is a large dish.
Once heated, grease skillet with coconut oil and start coating bananas in the sugar mixture – making sure they are completely covered in sugar. Place bananas onto the oiled skillet one at a time and cook for a few minutes on each side, until brown and heated all the way through.
While the bananas are cooking, pop the waffles in the toaster. Once everything is done, scoop caramelized bananas over waffles, drizzle with maple syrup and devour!
